Freeze-up will come…snow will arrive…sometimes a little late…at times a little early…the natural forces have their own “calendar”…certainly not ours…
…the mountains, rivers & lakes will lock up in ice…
…the amazing colors of the low-angle winter sun will begin to paint the land & sky…
…star-filled night skies may also fill with vivid colors, long after the sun has set…
…the Northwinds will shred the great peaks & fill sub-zero air with ice crystals & sundogs…
…ice fog will filter our sun & cast silken blankets over the deltas & valleys…
…in time the 20+ hour-moon & the 4 hour-sun will begin to switch places for the season…
