Few Hours Ago

If you didn’t get to see the total eclipse of the moon last night…well…it was a magnificent event! The star Spica is to the right!

Of course Alaska had an extra nice view…with a tiny bit of twilight to the N.W., the Milky Way, a touch of Auroral glow & the total eclipse below Mars in the S.E.…what a remarkable arrangement!

A weather front, just moving in at the edge of the eclipse, covered the entire sky within an hour of this scene.
