Comet Lovejoy!
While there has been much ado & hype about “Comet ISON” being the “comet of the century” & other such boasts, it has now been vaporized by our sun without ever really living up to the grandiose assertions of the “comet guessers” across the world.
Not much has been mentioned though about Comet Lovejoy which still remains as bright or brighter than ISON as ISON journeyed-to-an-end past our sun.
Comet Lovejoy, also known as the “Christmas Comet”, was discovered in 2011 and will not return for another 622 years.
Now, briefly it is enjoyed in the northern hemisphere and on moonless nights during our lifetime.
