The glowing coals on the beach are what remain from the once roaring fire. Suddenly a powerful and rare yellow-red aurora undulates rapidly to the northeast, lighting up the waters of the eastern bay of Axel Lind Island and silhouetting the F/V Cape Chacon at anchor...its Captain, unaware of the magnificent scene dancing overhead, is rocked to sleep by the waves…”
