“…This ‘Grizzly Girl’ did not like the constant pursuit of the boars in Denali National Park. She would move away at their scent, sometimes running a full mile to avoid them. Still in her luxuriously thick winter coat, she appeared to be very large and healthy, with no cubs for this season. She had a rich golden or deep blonde coat and chocolate legs, almost like a Siamese cat, which is indicative of the species of grizzly in Denali Park. Her healthy genes will carry on into generations of her cubs and ensure the preservation of the Park’s famous Interior Grizzlies…”
