In the east a mixed palette of vibrant aurora bisects the luxurious blue twilight of an Alaskan spring 'night', dwarfing the great boulder uplifts. The collage of sweet light casts silver and shadow across the remaining winter's snow cover, as it certainly has done so numerous times over untold ice ages…”
