"...In the wee morning hours, with frigid and unrelenting Northwinds rattling the forests, the warmth of the cabin was more inviting than ever. Small displays of aurora had spread and teased earlier throughout the evening. Suddenly, without warning the swiftly rising in the starfields, energetic rayed auroral arcs began to dance as gusty winds seemed to sweep along in cadence with the vivid multi-colored wonder. For several minutes the majestic spectacle exploded in a great finale...the ultimate Curtain Call..."

Within the scene:

Location: Warm remote cabin at the edge of Denali State Park, northwest of Talkeetna, New Moon (no moon), all ground-light is lit by the powerful rayed auroral display covering the entire sky, steady & brisk Northwinds, springtime temperature (without wind-chill) @ 10°f.
