Alaska’s great Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) displays make one-of-a-kind appearances & cover the entire spectrum of colors. They will materialize and disappear when they want and where they want. They will meander over the entire landmasses of Canada, Alaska and Russia at once. Whereas in the southern hemisphere mirrored views of the Aurora Australis are occurring at the same time over the Antarctic Ocean. The Aurora will always remain an untouchable and powerful mystery.
This collage of rare aurora images from The Aurora Collection® spans 20 years. They cover the night skies from Denali to the Copper River Delta and points in between, resulting in thousands of hours of “patience and cold fingers”, waiting for Nature’s ultimate radiance to play across the Heavens.
