“…Denali, Mt. Hunter & the surrounding peaks of the central Alaska Range become awash with soft pink alpenglow in the pre-dawn night. Briefly & without warning vibrant aurora electrified the skies above the scene, adding to the moment. Far away in the heavens, above Mt. Hunter, the twin stars of the Gemini constellation, Castor & Pollux, shine brightly in spite of the overpowering gathering of light.
