“…Deep into the interior of Denali National Park and Preserve, winter begins to cast its grip on the land with ice & snow. The great north-face of the 19,470 ft. north summit of Denali, the upper vertical Wickersham Wall and 17,400 ft. Mt Foraker to the right are all last to be lit with striking alpenglow. The background clouds grab the higher light creating a nice contrast between light & shadows. Slight zephyrs ruffle the ponds surface, denying it a perfect reflection. The scene faded away in minutes and temperatures began to plummet into the night..."
